Senior Technical Product Manager - Wallets (100% Remote)

Tether seeks a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead the development of crypto wallets at global scale. The role requires deep technical product experience, strong cross-functional leadership, and a hands-on approach to product delivery in a remote, fast-paced environment.

This role is for a product-focused professional who will own the full lifecycle of a crypto wallet product, from initial concept to global deployment. The ideal candidate will shape the product roadmap, lead sprints, and ensure every decision aligns with user needs and business goals. They will be deeply involved in execution, tracking dependencies, and ensuring quality across multiple workstreams, rather than delegating and disengaging.

Responsibilities

• Lead the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and user story creation to delivery and post-launch analysis, including backlog management and workflow coordination for development teams.
• Translate complex technical ideas into clear, actionable product requirements and evaluate technical solutions based on feasibility, business value, and customer impact.
• Perform in-depth market research and customer discovery to define the product’s value proposition.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions effectively.
• Ensure timely delivery of features that meet quality standards by organizing testing and feedback loops.

Requirements

• 8+ years in product management, including at least 3 years in a technical product management capacity.
• Prior experience in developing or managing crypto wallets with DeFi features.
• Strong communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
• Proven ability to build trust quickly, communicate openly, and enhance team effectiveness.
• Bias toward action—able to identify necessary changes, build cases, and drive execution without waiting to be asked.
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams to align engineers, designers, and business stakeholders toward shared goals.
• Comfortable with both strategic planning and hands-on execution; does not delegate and disengage.
• Thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with tight deadlines.
• Expertise in agile methodologies, including tools like Jira and Asana.
• Solid understanding of microservices, peer-to-peer systems, and JavaScript.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities in a remote, dynamic setting.
• Skilled in defining, tracking, and reporting product KPIs; experience with A/B testing or similar experimentation methods is beneficial.
