Technical Product Marketing Manager (TPMM)

Anza Xyz seeks a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager in Zürich to lead marketing for major Solana protocol launches, translate complex technical work into clear narratives, and manage external communications.

This position bridges engineering, developer relations, and public communications at Anza Xyz, a Solana research and development lab dedicated to enhancing blockchain scalability and performance. The role is responsible for crafting clear narratives around deep protocol advancements and orchestrating the rollout of significant platform updates.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of major 2026 platform releases, including Alpenglow, MCP, IBRL, and SIMD-0123.
• Lead the marketing strategy for the Agave release cycle, covering both stable and beta versions like the 4.2 update.
• Convert technical updates on consensus, networking, and user experience into accessible messaging for diverse audiences.
• Oversee the company's X (Twitter) account, handling content strategy, writing, scheduling, and community interaction.
• Cultivate connections with media outlets covering crypto and infrastructure, while collaborating with the Solana Foundation.
• Maintain the operational core of marketing efforts by managing content schedules and ensuring alignment across teams.
• Create positioning strategies and messaging frameworks for Agave and the wider Anza product ecosystem.

Requirements

• Experience as a former engineer transitioning to marketing, or extensive background in technical marketing for infrastructure, developer tools, distributed systems, or protocol-level crypto.
• Ability to analyze code descriptions, technical specifications, or protocol documentation and develop independent insights.
• Proven success in managing complex, multi-stakeholder launches in technical product settings.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a focus on technical writing.
• Strong capability to drive cross-functional execution while minimizing friction.
• Deep knowledge of and enthusiasm for the Solana and Web3 ecosystems.
• A self-driven, low-ego, and resourceful approach to work.

Nice to have

• Understanding of validator clients or networking concepts.
• Familiarity with Agave, validator clients, SIMDs, or consensus-level mechanisms.
• Pre-existing connections with crypto/infrastructure media or developer communities.
• Experience managing launches across multiple independent organizations.
• Active involvement in Bitcoin, Ethereum, or Solana projects, or the open-source community.
