Product Owner / Staking Specialist

Bitcoin Suisse seeks a Product Owner / Staking Specialist in Zug to manage staking products, analyze yield opportunities, and bridge business and technical teams.

Bitcoin Suisse, a leading Swiss crypto asset provider, is looking for a specialist to oversee its staking offerings. This role involves evaluating new blockchain opportunities, managing infrastructure, and ensuring the staking platform meets business and technical standards while delivering value to clients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new blockchains, staking features, and yield sources, including DeFi products, from technical and business perspectives.
• Monitor protocol updates and coordinate necessary changes to internal systems.
• Compare staking products against market indices and competitors to decide on protocol additions or removals.
• Define product requirements and acceptance criteria for the internal staking platform, then test and validate new features.
• Document business processes using BPMN and automate workflows for the Business Operations team.
• Lead staking-related projects and coordinate the launch of new staking products.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications, acting as a liaison between development, infrastructure, and business teams.
• Develop Python scripts or use other languages to extract data from APIs and build automations with Power Query.
• Create and maintain reporting dashboards in Power BI.
• Apply AI and agentic tools to enhance software development, research, and documentation efforts.
• Oversee staking infrastructure, including nodes, validators, and reward APIs, resolving issues as a second-level support point.
• Provide third-level support to Client Management and technical assistance to Business Operations.
• Handle external vendor relationships, including contracts, migrations, invoices, and support cases.
• Implement risk controls, conduct periodic tests, and maintain business continuity plans.
• Update staking policies, track incidents, and follow up with relevant teams.
• Review and approve infrastructure changes related to staking.
• Draft and approve staking contracts and annexes.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of cryptocurrencies, layer-2 solutions, and blockchain infrastructure, including nodes and validators.
• Solid understanding of staking mechanisms and the broader crypto and DeFi yield landscape.
• Proven business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, user story writing, BPMN process modeling, and UAT.
• Advanced Python programming skills or proficiency in another language for data extraction and automation.
• Expertise in Power BI (DAX), advanced Excel, and Power Query.
• Practical experience using AI and agentic tools for business analysis, research, and documentation.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Self-motivated individual capable of managing multiple projects and collaborating across Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Investment teams.
• Must hold a valid Swiss working permit; only direct applications will be considered.

• Proficiency in German.
