Product Owner Custom Solutions (60-100%)

VSHN is seeking a Product Owner for Custom Solutions in Zürich to lead business processes for technical teams using Scrum-like workflows, ensuring alignment between customer needs and product offerings.

The company develops and operates tailored solutions leveraging standardized platforms, managed services, and custom-engineered components. In this position, the Product Owner will guide 2-3 technical solution teams within a Scrum-inspired framework, acting as the primary business representative to align strategy with execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage and advance customer project workflows across various internal roles and departments.
• Prioritize the backlog, coordinate with stakeholders, and plan sprints as part of 2-3 technical teams.
• Serve as the business owner, communicating strategic objectives and goals to development groups.
• Maintain a balanced workload between product development, client projects, and daily operational tasks.
• Collaborate with the Product Manager to verify that services match real-world market and client demands.
• Identify and remove significant obstacles affecting teams, clients, and project timelines.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on key business performance metrics.
• Lead efforts to continuously refine and enhance customer project processes throughout the organization.

Requirements

• A professional background in IT business, ideally within managed services or client project environments.
• Proven track record as a Product Owner, including sprint planning, stakeholder coordination, task refinement, and facilitating retrospectives for continuous improvement.
• Fluent proficiency in both German and English for business communication.
• Practical experience building or operating web applications and backend services, preferably using Linux, containers, or Kubernetes.
• Legal authorization to work in Switzerland (Swiss/EU citizens, residents, or valid work visa holders).
