Swissquote seeks a Design Manager in Gland to lead a small design team and shape the creative vision across web and corporate channels. The role requires strong UX/UI expertise, leadership skills, and proficiency with modern design and AI tools.
The company is looking for a Design Manager to steer the creative direction for its digital and corporate communications. In this position, the successful candidate will guide a small team of designers and interns, ensuring that all visual outputs align with brand standards while meeting business goals and technical requirements.
Responsibilities
- Foster a creative environment that encourages innovation and the development of effective design solutions.
- Create engaging design concepts that respect brand guidelines, user requirements, and industry standards.
- Guide, organize, and mentor a team of designers and an intern to maintain a productive and cooperative workflow.
- Coordinate project priorities and allocate resources to guarantee timely and high-quality project completion.
- Collaborate with product, development, marketing, and copywriting departments to align design work with business aims and technical limits.
- Supervise the entire design process from initial concept to final delivery, maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
- Maintain visual consistency across all customer touchpoints and help update design systems and guidelines.
- Promote a culture of innovation by encouraging the team to explore new design boundaries and deliver unique solutions.
Requirements
- At least eight years of professional experience in web design, specifically in UX/UI roles.
- Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities.
- Capacity to handle several projects simultaneously in a rapid-paced setting.
- Extensive knowledge of design and prototyping software, including Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong proficiency with AI tools and the ability to incorporate generative AI into design workflows to improve efficiency, speed up ideation, create assets, and enhance user experience.
- Track record of leading, structuring, and advancing Design Systems to ensure consistency, scalability, and widespread adoption.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and focused on delivering results.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence others effectively.
- Energetic, dedicated team player.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Fluent French and good English language skills.
Nice to have
- Prior experience working in a web communication agency or within the fintech or retail finance sectors.
