Elkraftspesialist

Ramboll Switzerland seeks a Senior Elkraftspesialist to lead design and planning of high-voltage installations and transmission networks within a collaborative, sustainability-driven engineering team.

The role sits within the Power Systems department, concentrating on transmission networks and high-voltage installations. The specialist joins the national Power Systems team, collaborating across Ramboll's Norwegian offices on complex, society-critical energy projects, and connects with Ramboll's global competence center for transmission to work with colleagues throughout Europe.

Responsibilities

• Design, specification, and planning of new and existing high-voltage installations.
• Advising customers on component selection, test requirements, and technical solutions.
• Executing projects in cross-disciplinary teams, handling both large and small assignments.
• Assisting with budgeting and tender work.
• Testing, control, and follow-up in the construction phase, including professional supervision and commissioning.

Requirements

• Education as a power engineer (BSc/MSc) or equivalent.
• At least 20 years of relevant experience with the design of high-voltage installations – regional or transmission networks.
• Good written and oral presentation skills in both Norwegian and English.
• Professionally engaged, works structured and communicates well with customers, colleagues and partners.
