EMEA HEMA Associate Manager

Johnson & Johnson seeks an EMEA HEMA Associate Manager in Zug to support regional health economics and market access strategies for orthopaedic solutions across multiple countries.

This individual contributor position operates at the EMEA level to drive the development and execution of Health Economics & Market Access (HEMA) activities. The role bridges regional strategy with local implementation, ensuring that orthopaedic solutions achieve necessary access, reimbursement, and adoption by translating high-level goals into country-specific outputs within established governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Execute EMEA HEMA strategies and priorities at the regional level.
• Partner closely with country teams to ensure aligned execution of local initiatives.
• Coordinate regional initiatives, timelines, and deliverables to maintain a consistent approach across markets.
• Support evidence generation efforts, including health economic analyses and real-world evidence projects.
• Help develop, roll out, and localize value messages, tools, and access materials for the EMEA region.
• Provide direct HEMA support to assigned countries or clusters, adapting to local access pathways.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Medical/Clinical, Regulatory, and Commercial departments.
• Deploy HEMA tools, templates, and training materials across various countries.
• Ensure all activities comply with EMEA HEMA governance, quality, ethics, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Health Economics, Public Health, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.
• Typically 3–5 years of experience in HEMA, Market Access, or similar roles.
• Fluent proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a regional or cross-country environment.
• Proficiency in additional European languages.
