Lombard Odier IM seeks an Equities & Derivatives Execution Trader in Geneva to manage client flows and optimize trading strategies within the Investment Solutions department.
This position sits within the Investment Solutions department, which delivers tailored investment strategies to private clients. The role focuses on managing equity and derivative execution across global markets, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while supporting the firm’s commitment to sustainable investing.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize the execution of equity and derivative client orders across international markets, adhering to best execution principles and internal governance rules.
- Participate in cross-asset execution coverage activities until the close of the U.S. market.
- Develop and implement electronic trading strategies by analyzing trading data to drive automation and process improvements.
- Cultivate and maintain productive relationships with brokers and market makers to secure liquidity and enhance execution quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
- At least three years of professional experience in equity and derivatives trading.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Bloomberg, TradeWeb, and order management platforms.
- Fluent command of both English and French.
- Current residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate there.
- Valid work permit for Switzerland.

- Deep knowledge of futures and options strategies.
- Experience with algorithmic and electronic trading technologies.
