The company seeks a Securities Transfer Specialist for a 12-month contract in Geneva. The role involves executing internal transfers, managing cost corrections, and coordinating with counterparties within the Technology & Operations unit.
This position sits within the Technology & Operations unit, specifically supporting the Securities transfer team, which is composed of 20 employees. The role focuses on ensuring accurate and efficient processing of securities movements and related financial instructions.
Responsibilities
- Process internal securities transfers.
- Review and handle cost adjustments.
- Record deposit securities entries in client accounts.
- Exchange SSI and matching information with external parties.
- Submit market instructions via Swift following established market practices and guides.
- Issue fund instructions in line with Transfer agent guidelines.
- Resolve pending settlement issues for regulated markets and funds.
- Verify trades based on contract notes received from the Transfer Agent.
- Provide communication and support to the front office.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of banking experience in a comparable role.
- Fluency in French and English at a minimum B2 level.
- Current residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate there.
- Solid understanding of securities and their processing, including funds.
- Strong familiarity with SWIFT messaging.
Nice to have
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration, or equivalent qualifications such as a CFC or Maturité professionnel bancaire.
