Securities Transfer Specialist (80-100%) (12-month contract)

Lombard Odier IM seeks a Securities Transfer Specialist for a 12-month contract in Geneva. The role supports the Technology & Operations unit with settlement, SWIFT messaging, and client account entries.

This position sits within the Securities transfer team of the Technology & Operations unit, which comprises 20 staff members. The specialist handles daily transfer executions, resolves settlement discrepancies, and ensures accurate client account updates while collaborating with front-office teams.

Responsibilities

• Process internal securities transfers and create deposit entries for client accounts.
• Manage cost corrections by analyzing and implementing necessary adjustments.
• Exchange SSI and matching details with counterparties to ensure smooth transactions.
• Submit market instructions via SWIFT in accordance with market practice rules and guides.
• Place fund instructions following Transfer agent protocols.
• Resolve pending settlement issues for regulated markets and funds.
• Confirm trades based on contract notes received from the Transfer Agent.
• Provide communication and support to the front office.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of banking experience in a comparable role.
• Fluency in French and English at a minimum B2 level.
• Solid understanding of securities processing, including funds.
• Strong proficiency with SWIFT messages.
• Current residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration, or equivalent qualification.
• CFC or Maturité professionnel bancaire certification.
