Head of Securities Transfer

The company seeks a Manager to lead the Securities Transfer team in Geneva, overseeing processing, risk mitigation, and team mentorship while ensuring compliance and accurate handling of asset-related activities.

This position focuses on managing and overseeing the processing of Securities Transfer changes across various asset types, including private equities. The role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate handling of these activities while mitigating associated risks.

Responsibilities

• Guide and support the team to ensure all events are processed accurately and on schedule.
• Identify and present strategic opportunities to reduce operational risks.
• Monitor internal KPI/KRI metrics to manage risks linked to securities transfer operations.
• Verify adherence to departmental procedures, review client task lists, and maintain related SLAs.
• Facilitate clear and efficient communication across departments, with staff, and with senior management.
• Conduct staff meetings and participate in project management and industry events.
• Oversee daily follow-up on pending issues and implement appropriate resolution measures.
• Perform controls on reconciliation of holdings, entitlements determination, and pending positions management.
• Manage and control securities transfer instructions received from Wealth Management and external parties.
• Control transmission of deposits to correspondents/Transfer Agents/Administrators and verify their safe delivery and acceptance.
• Follow up on topics and issues throughout the lifecycle of securities transfer activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Fluent in French and English
• Swiss Residence is mandatory
