Corporate Action Specialist

Union Bancaire Privée seeks a Corporate Action Specialist in Geneva to manage daily corporate action tasks, handle client inquiries, and ensure accurate processing and reconciliation of corporate events.

This position focuses on managing the full lifecycle of corporate actions across various task pools. The specialist will handle daily operational duties, follow up on related issues, and ensure smooth execution of corporate events from initiation to completion.

Responsibilities

• Cross-check data received from custodians, agents, and financial service providers.
• Set up corporate events within the corporate action database.
• Respond to inquiries from Relationship Managers, internal teams, and external contacts.
• Draft and send announcements to Relationship Managers and clients.
• Reconcile holdings, calculate entitlements, and oversee pending positions.
• Gather and track instructions.
• Forward instructions to correspondents, fund managers, and external parties, verifying their safe delivery and acceptance.
• Record corporate action events in client accounts.
• Review overnight bookings.
• Switch between task pools as needed.
• Work collaboratively with team members outside the assigned pool.
