The company seeks a Payment Specialist for a 12-month contract in Geneva. The role involves processing payments, managing account closures, and supporting IT projects within the Operations department.
This position sits within the Technology & Operations unit, specifically the Payment Transactions team. The specialist will join a group of nine professionals tasked with controlling and executing transfer orders to ensure smooth financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Handle account closures with precision and speed to meet regulatory and internal standards.
- Review, verify, and process incoming payments to optimize cash flow management.
- Review, verify, and process outgoing payments to ensure secure and efficient fund transfers.
- Oversee bank mailboxes, addressing questions and requests from internal stakeholders.
- Calculate and process management fees in line with company guidelines.
- Handle requests from Business Process Outsourcing partners regarding correspondent relationship updates.
- Investigate and clear pending reconciliations for outgoing payments, incoming funds, and correspondent fees.
- Contribute expertise to IT initiatives to support successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Hold a professional maturity diploma from a business school or a CFC certification.
- Possess 3 to 5 years of experience in banking operations, with a focus on payment systems like SWIFT, SIC, EUROSIC, and SEPA.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of SWIFT message formats.
- Fluency in French and English at a B2 level or higher.
- Currently reside in Switzerland or be prepared to relocate there.

- Knowledge of additional languages beyond French and English.
