ERP Application Specialist – Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O

Darest Consulting Services seeks a Mid-level ERP Application Specialist for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O in Fribourg. The role focuses on system administration, optimization, and functional support within an international engineering group.

This position sits within the Digitalization Team, where the incumbent helps shape and evolve the company’s enterprise systems landscape. The specialist acts as a bridge between technical operations and business needs, ensuring the ERP environment supports ongoing digital transformation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and continuously improve Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Customer Engagement modules.
• Provide Level 2 functional support and manage incidents related to ERP systems for key users and business units.
• Execute system upgrades, perform non-regression testing, validate fixes, and deploy enhancement packages.
• Work with business stakeholders to convert functional requirements into viable technical solutions.
• Support integration efforts and digital transformation initiatives, including those involving mergers and acquisitions.
• Maintain technical documentation, conduct monitoring activities, and assist with ERP governance processes.

Requirements

• At least four years of experience managing ERP systems.
• Proven, hands-on expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Solid understanding of Finance, HR, and Marketing business processes.
• Prior experience participating in ERP projects, testing cycles, and application support.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical business stakeholders.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in French and/or German.
• Familiarity with the Abacus system.
