Events Security Specialist

Forum Fribourg SA seeks a Senior Events Security Specialist in Geneva to support the Global Events Security Manager in overseeing security operations for international gatherings.

This position serves as the second-in-command for event security operations, reporting directly to the Global Events Security Manager. The role is designed to bolster leadership capacity and ensure operational continuity as the scale and complexity of global events increase. The specialist will act as a deputy, stepping in to lead security initiatives when necessary while supporting the broader strategic goals of the security team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the deputy to the Global Events Security Manager, ensuring seamless leadership and continuity across all security activities.
• Collaborate closely with the Global Events Security Manager to plan and execute security measures for large-scale events, such as the Annual Meeting and AMNC.
• Independently manage security planning and on-site operations for smaller and mid-sized events.
• Review and oversee security concepts and operational plans for the entire event portfolio.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners, including Swiss and international law enforcement agencies, as well as security vendors.
• Provide on-site leadership during events, including team coordination and incident management.

Requirements

• An academic degree or equivalent professional experience in security, law enforcement, or military service.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, French, and German.
• Strong organizational abilities with a track record in project management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of additional languages is considered an asset.
