Event Technology and Product Manager

Forum Fribourg SA seeks a Senior Event Technology and Product Manager in Geneva to lead the delivery of event technology solutions, combining strategic product management with structured project execution.

This position serves as the Product Lead for Event Technology, responsible for translating complex business requirements into actionable plans. The role bridges strategic product thinking with structured project delivery to ensure high-quality outcomes across various events.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of Event Technology services for small to mid-sized events, including IT planning, logistics, and on-site execution.
• Manage and prioritize the product roadmap and backlog for new initiatives and ongoing improvements.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to guarantee the quality of event technology services.
• Convert complex business needs into clear, structured, and actionable requirements.
• Identify opportunities to standardize, simplify, and scale solutions to drive continuous improvement.
• Apply structured methodologies such as Agile, ITIL, and project management best practices across product and project dimensions.
• Create documentation, executive summaries, and post-event debriefs to support decision-making processes.

Requirements

• 10-15 years of relevant experience in Event Technology, Product, and/or project delivery.
• Proven experience managing complex IT initiatives and/or product environments.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to bridge business needs and technical solutions across diverse stakeholders.
• Strong user-centric approach with the ability to manage and prioritize backlogs and roadmaps.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate both strategically and operationally.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage executive and non-technical audiences.
• Strong focus on user needs and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, ITIL, and project management methodologies.

Nice to have

• Fluency in French and/or German.
