Endress+Hauser seeks a Senior Expert for Global Production Master Data in Reinach, CH. The role focuses on maintaining SAP master data, driving global harmonization, and supporting the digital backbone of international production.

This position serves as a key driver for the digital infrastructure of global manufacturing. The expert is responsible for establishing a connected and efficient production environment where high-quality data supports future-ready operations. By shaping the digital backbone, the role ensures that data integrity and process logic enable seamless global industrialization.

Responsibilities

• Partner with production, engineering, and digitalization teams across various sites to align on data strategies.
• Manage complex coordination efforts within an international manufacturing network to ensure consistent execution.
• Define, maintain, and guarantee the quality of production master data, including variant configuration, ensuring structural consistency throughout the product lifecycle.
• Optimize standards, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives in master data maintenance to drive global harmonization and refine underlying process logic.
• Act as a project manager for product development initiatives, overseeing the global industrialization of new products and steering cross-site rollouts.
• Coordinate and implement changes across the entire product lifecycle as the manufacturing planner responsible for specific products.

Requirements

• Hold a technical degree in fields such as production engineering, mechanical engineering, or industrial engineering.
• Possess at least eight years of professional experience in industrial settings, including proven expertise in production engineering, master data management, industrialization, and international operations.
• Demonstrate strong expert knowledge in maintaining SAP production master data, specifically regarding routings, bills of materials, and variant configuration.
• Exhibit a deep understanding of SAP ERP as the central system for integrating core processes like materials management, production planning, logistics, and master data.
• Have proven experience in implementing, rolling out, or further developing SAP ME within a variant-rich manufacturing environment.
• Be skilled in the operational implementation of complex system and process dependencies between the shop floor, SAP ME, and SAP ERP.
• Bring at least eight years of experience in project management and the industrialization of new products, processes, or technologies, including cross-site rollouts in an international context.
• Display a strong global mindset, intercultural competence, and the ability to manage complex topics in a decentralized production network.
• Showcase high-level communication, alignment, and integration skills across countries, functions, and locations.
• Be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
