Master Data Expert

Richemont seeks a Master Data Expert in Villars-sur-Glâne to ensure data integrity for Cartier articles, balancing project work with operational support in a luxury supply chain context.

This position supports the team’s mission by delivering specialized knowledge on master data product topics and providing operational assistance to markets and functional teams. The role is primarily dedicated to maintaining the quality and accuracy of Cartier articles moving from manufacturing sites to global distribution centers. Daily activities are divided roughly between project-based initiatives and routine operational duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert guidance on master data processes to resolve operational cases.
• Drive projects that address specific business requirements for article data.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts by mapping current workflows, finding solutions, and executing changes.
• Assist with daily workflows concerning critical master data elements.
• Extract, compare, test, and analyze data to spot discrepancies and recommend fixes.
• Track key performance indicators to ensure consistency across data sources and manage follow-up actions.
• Handle compliance matters associated with master data management.
• Support team goals by engaging in transformation initiatives and testing new tools.
• Build strong collaborative relationships with internal partners across Cartier and Richemont.

Requirements

• University degree in Supply Chain or Data-related fields.
• Proven experience in data management, supply chain operations, and general operations.
• Strong skills in using SAP systems.
• Competence with business intelligence platforms like PowerBI or Google Looker.
• Understanding of data architecture within Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with Agile working methods.
• Fluency in both French and English.
• Ability to communicate effectively between technical and non-technical stakeholders in a matrix structure.
• Highly organized and rigorous approach to work tasks.
