Finance Innovation Lead

Forum Fribourg SA seeks a Senior Finance Innovation Lead in Geneva to drive forest landscape investment strategies, manage stakeholder engagement, and design innovative financing mechanisms.

This position focuses on identifying, designing, and delivering opportunities within forest landscapes to unlock private and philanthropic capital. As a member of a global team, the incumbent will facilitate dialogue among leaders to build trust and transform complex global challenges into collective, actionable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design and execution of Forum Fribourg events linked to forest landscape initiatives.
• Create thought leadership materials and synthesis products to raise awareness and support for forest finance innovation.
• Develop strategic communications that convert complex financial opportunities into engaging narratives to build momentum.
• Evaluate and oversee innovative business models and financing structures aimed at sustaining long-term conservation and resilience outcomes.
• Engage with corporates, asset managers, insurers, and philanthropies to identify their needs and opportunities in forest landscape financing.

Requirements

• Seven to ten years of professional experience in finance, investment, banking, nature finance, innovation, or related sectors.
• Solid grasp of capital structures and blended finance instruments to mobilize capital for multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Proven ability to manage and engage diverse stakeholders, including investors, corporations, philanthropies, and government entities.
• Strong project management capabilities with a track record of driving progress, prioritizing tasks, and delivering convenings, partnerships, and content.
• Capacity to synthesize complex information and present compelling narratives through both written and oral communication.
• Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in French, Spanish, or Portuguese is considered an advantage.
