Forum Fribourg SA seeks a Senior Financial Planner & Business Partner in Geneva to drive strategic value creation and provide high-level financial decision support.

This position sits within the Financial Planning, Performance & Partnering (FPP) function and reports directly to the Head of FPP. The incumbent serves as a strategic business partner, acting as a trusted advisor who drives value creation while supporting the organization’s vision. The role focuses on delivering robust management reporting and decision support to both the FPP team and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various Forum Centres and functions to design and execute financial strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Enhance the agility of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Evaluate current planning and forecasting systems to develop and implement an effective systems strategy.
  • Prepare and present monthly reports for the Managing Board, Audit & Risk Committee, and Board of Trustees, including ad-hoc analysis.
  • Deliver clear variance analysis to budget owners and stakeholders, ensuring proactive financial controlling follow-up.
  • Refine management reporting workflows and key board reports to improve clarity and utility.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Act as a customer-focused enabler and informed challenger, providing value-added insights.
  • Promote the adoption of financial technologies and innovative solutions to boost efficiency.
  • Work closely with the wider Finance team to foster a positive culture and professional behaviors.

Requirements

  • A degree in a relevant field.
  • A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent credential.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in financial planning, performance management, and business partnering.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and practical problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong technical accounting expertise, particularly within Financial Planning and Performance.
  • A proven track record in financial business partnering roles.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Nice to have

  • Experience working within a global company with international exposure.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
