Finance Senior Product Owner

The company seeks a Senior Product Owner to lead the strategic development and transformation of integrated Finance & Accounting solutions within its Group Platforms department.

This position sits within the Group Platforms department and serves as the strategic link between the Group Product Office and the Finance Function. The role is responsible for driving the Group Finance strategy by overseeing the evolution of Finance and Accounting products, ensuring continuous improvement, and fostering product transformation across all Richemont entities.

Responsibilities

• Steer product transformation efforts and lead strategic initiatives to drive innovation within the Finance and Accounting product line.
• Serve as the primary strategic liaison between the Group Product Office and the Finance Function.
• Develop and maintain detailed product roadmaps to guide long-term objectives.
• Establish and enforce consistent product working methods, including demand management, fixed capacity models, and regular ceremonies.
• Identify and manage risks and issues in collaboration with the Finance team, implementing appropriate mitigation plans.
• Communicate the strategic direction and impact of the Finance and Accounting product to senior stakeholders on a regular basis.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify needs and translate them into strategic product requirements and initiatives.
• Prioritize product demands in close coordination with the Group Finance organization.
• Maintain and refine the product backlog to ensure strategic alignment.
• Guide and lead the technical team responsible for Finance and Accounting solutions.
• Manage interdependencies with cross-functional teams across various Product Areas.
• Champion change management by promoting product adoption, training, and comprehensive documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement by analyzing user feedback, adoption rates, KPIs, and benefits realization.

Requirements

• 10 to 15 years of experience in product or project management, preferably within multinational, innovative, operational finance, or consulting environments.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Financial solutions.
• Practical background in operational finance roles, such as controlling or accounting.
• Strong business acumen and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Proven track record in facilitation, change management, and solving problems across business areas.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with active listening capabilities.
• Ability to present concepts in accessible or executive language to various management levels, including C-Level, and inspire teams with a clear vision.
• Experience working effectively in collaborative, team-oriented settings.
• Fluency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Audit or consulting experience at a Big 4 or similar firm.
• Familiarity with collaborative product management tools and Agile frameworks or methodologies.
• Experience applying Product Owner techniques, such as customer journeys, personas, discovery sessions, and Agile ceremonies.
• Ability to anticipate future changes through technological advancements.
