Full Stack Software Engineer in Java & Dart

Swiss AviationSoftware seeks a Mid-level Full Stack Software Engineer to develop the AMOS application using Java and Dart in a hybrid role based in Allschwil.

This position focuses on the continuous evolution of the AMOS platform, a critical system utilized by airlines globally to maintain aircraft safety. The engineer will manage the complete software development lifecycle for an application comprising over six million lines of code, ensuring robust performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with clients and end-users to gather and clarify technical requirements.
• Design and build complex full-stack features within the AMOS ecosystem, covering both database architecture and user interfaces.
• Create and maintain foundational frameworks that support other development groups.
• Oversee all phases of the application life-cycle from conception to deployment.
• Manage and improve continuous integration pipelines to ensure smooth delivery.
• Participate in cross-functional agile teams to drive project goals.
• Conduct peer code reviews and author automated tests to guarantee code quality.

Requirements

• A completed degree or diploma in software engineering, computer science, or a closely related field.
• Proven proficiency in Java and SQL technologies.
• Fluent command of the English language for professional communication.
• Substantial experience or a strong interest in building enterprise-grade applications.
• Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Strong organizational abilities paired with effective interpersonal and communication skills.
