GL & VAT Accountant

Roger Dubuis seeks a GL & VAT Accountant for a 6-8 month maternity cover starting June 2026 in Meyrin, CH. The role ensures financial accuracy, IFRS compliance, and manages indirect tax filings across 28 European countries.

This maternity cover position, running for six to eight months beginning in June 2026, plays a central part in upholding the precision and integrity of financial records. The incumbent will ensure strict adherence to IFRS standards and Group policies while actively contributing to the monthly reporting cycles.

Responsibilities

• Execute balance sheet reconciliations.
• Record accounting journals in accordance with IFRS and internal Group guidelines.
• Analyze and resolve general ledger account discrepancies.
• Take part in the monthly consolidated reporting process.
• Collaborate with the controlling team to allocate costs correctly.
• Uphold standardized accounting procedures and guidelines.
• Manage, review, and submit indirect tax statements for operations in 28 European nations.
• Address ad hoc inquiries from tax authorities.
• Provide support to internal and external stakeholders as needed.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or an equivalent qualification.
