Sanofi seeks a Senior Global Brand Lead for Elenestinib in Rotkreuz, CH. This onsite role involves leading the global launch strategy and cross-functional brand team for this pioneering entity.
The company is establishing a new, entrepreneurial global commercialization center with significant decision-making power over launch strategies. In this capacity, the Global Brand Lead acts as the Chief Executive Officer for the Elenestinib brand, leading a senior-level, cross-functional Global Brand Team. The position reports directly to the Global TA Head for SM & BPM Integration.
Responsibilities
- Direct the Global Brand Team in crafting brand strategy and guaranteeing uniform global execution.
- Act as the Commercial Chair on the Global Product Team to provide strategic oversight and coordination.
- Define commercial ambitions across short, mid, and long-term horizons, deploying strategies to meet business objectives.
- Collaborate with Global Medical and HEVA to build an integrated evidence generation plan and a scientific key message platform.
- Work with Global Market Research to ensure robust insight generation for launch foundations.
- Partner with New Product Planning to shape the Therapeutic Area Strategy Narrative and support brand Life Cycle Management.
- Coordinate with the AYVAKIT brand team to develop co-positioning strategies.
- Articulate a clear brand narrative and align the organization around it.
- Lead the creation of launch business cases and identify ideal market shaping plans.
- Integrate brand strategies with Sanofi Integrated Launch Capabilities for launch simulation and scenario planning.
- Design diagnosis and patient find strategies for the brand.
- Develop multichannel approaches to amplify brand experience, including go-to-market and omnichannel rollout.
- Achieve sales, profit, and market share targets within agreed budgets.
- Monitor business performance and ensure management actions secure adherence to agreed plans.
- Manage budgets to focus on highest impact opportunities.
- Ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness of all aspects of the business.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in business, science, or a related discipline.
- At least 15 years of demonstrated success in marketing, launches, and general management roles.
- Global, US or Ex-US launch experience is critical.
- Background in Rare Disease is critical.
- Proven command of classic marketing and sales disciplines and techniques.
- Demonstrated success in commercial planning, launching, aggressively growing, and managing products through their life cycle.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree (MD or MBA) preferred.
- Experience building and leading a pharmaceutical/biotech commercial organization with marketing responsibilities and successful general management experience preferred.
- Respiratory and/or relevant rare disease experience preferred.
