Biogen (Switzerland) seeks a Global Launch and Commercial Operations Lead for Dravet in Baar, CH. This senior role manages the end-to-end commercial launch of zorevunersen, overseeing global strategy, cross-functional alignment, and execution excellence.

The company is looking for a senior individual contributor to govern and execute the global commercial launch of zorevunersen for Dravet syndrome. This position requires leading cross-functional and cross-regional teams to build robust launch plans, ensuring readiness and maximizing operational excellence while driving strategic alignment across all relevant business units.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete launch lifecycle at both global and local levels, integrating customer and market insights into decision-making.
  • Align cross-functional teams including Marketing, Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, and others to ensure cohesive execution.
  • Engage continuously with local affiliates to support onboarding and the implementation of launch readiness activities.
  • Develop and manage integrated launch plans with defined roles, responsibilities, and workstream dependencies.
  • Oversee launch stage gates, readiness milestones, and governance forums to maintain strategic rigor.
  • Ensure all functions remain aligned with the critical path and launch timelines.
  • Monitor post-launch performance metrics and adjust strategies in real time based on data.
  • Identify risks related to strategy, execution, or market dynamics and drive mitigation or escalation.
  • Define success KPIs such as uptake curves, adoption rates, market share, customer engagement, and ROI.
  • Ensure the launch strategy accounts for real-world treatment dynamics, access barriers, payer expectations, and competitive positioning.
  • Lead external engagement initiatives targeting HCPs, patients, and caregivers.
  • Develop a global engagement strategy aligned with brand positioning and launch objectives.
  • Create omnichannel customer engagement plans and oversee unbranded disease education campaigns.
  • Co-create content with key markets for worldwide deployment.
  • Ensure external initiatives are insight-driven, compliant, and tailored to regional needs while maintaining global consistency.
  • Partner with affiliates to adapt and activate engagement strategies locally.
  • Integrate market research and competitive intelligence to inform engagement strategies.
  • Foster a positive team culture through expert meeting facilitation, health checks, and values-based decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • At least 3 years in strategic or tactical roles supporting launch readiness.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Teams, and project management software.
  • Fluency in English and at least one additional language.
  • Proven experience leading within a matrix organization.
  • Strong commercial background, preferably with experience in local affiliate environments.

  • Advanced Degree such as an MBA or PhD.
  • Experience at a regional or global level.
  • Prior exposure to rare diseases.
