Siegfried seeks a Global Category Manager CapEx in Zofingen to lead capital expense optimization and category strategies within its indirect procurement team.
This position sits within the indirect procurement team in Zofingen and reports directly to the Head of Global Indirect Procurement. The role focuses on driving capital expense optimization and developing category strategies for international sites, supporting a fully integrated CDMO that manufactures APIs and finished dosage forms for the pharmaceutical industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead global optimization initiatives for capital expenditures.
- Oversee the full commercial procurement cycle for assigned categories.
- Create and roll out group-wide category strategies across international locations.
- Establish a CapEx procurement community to facilitate regular knowledge exchange and best practice sharing.
- Promote and ensure widespread adoption of the Coupa sourcing tool throughout the procurement team.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to grasp business requirements and execute a multi-year plan for optimal tendering of company spend.
Requirements
- Fluent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- At least five years of relevant procurement experience.
- Hands-on experience conducting e-auctions.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proven project management capabilities.
- Strong critical thinking skills with experience in developing business cases.

- A background in Business Administration combined with strong technical acumen, such as an Engineering degree.
