Category Manager (CAPEX) - Process Equipment (7025)

CTC Resourcing Solutions AG seeks a Senior Category Manager for CAPEX Process Equipment in Visp. The role focuses on strategy, sourcing, and supplier management within a pharmaceutical setting.

This position is responsible for leading the development and execution of category strategies specifically for process equipment within capital expenditure projects. The role ensures that business needs, engineering requirements, and supply market capabilities are aligned within a pharmaceutical environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement category strategies for process equipment.
• Oversee sourcing activities, including tendering processes and supplier selection.
• Conduct commercial negotiations and manage contracting.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Project Teams to ensure early involvement.
• Maintain strategic supplier relationships and monitor performance.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and value engineering.
• Manage supply risks to guarantee continuity.
• Ensure adherence to GMP regulations and technical standards.
• Translate category strategies into effective project execution.
• Track supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Valid Swiss working/residency permit or Swiss/EU citizenship.
• Degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent qualification.
• 10–15 years of experience in Procurement or Category Management.
• Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or regulated industry.
• Strong background in sourcing process equipment.
• Proven track record in negotiation and supplier strategy.
• Experience managing large CAPEX projects.
• Solid understanding of engineering and project lifecycles.
• Fluent English proficiency.
• German language skills at a minimum B2 level.
