Global IAM Project Manager

SUMMIT RECRUITMENT AG seeks a Senior Global IAM Project Manager in Zürich to lead IS Compliance Assurance teams and manage regulatory adherence for IAM, PAM, and SAP programs.

The company is looking for a senior professional to oversee a multinational team of IS Compliance Assurance specialists. This role focuses on managing global Identity and Access Management projects while ensuring strict adherence to regulatory frameworks such as SOX, GDPR, and ESG across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IS GRC to interpret regulatory mandates and risk management methodologies.
• Maintain and validate supporting tool landscapes, initiating changes when necessary to ensure fitness for purpose.
• Provide clear requirements and guidance to service delivery teams to secure adequate compliance assurance tools.
• Create and update IS Compliance assessment templates, ensuring proper training for Gate Model owners.
• Oversee IS projects to guarantee compliance aspects are respected, monitoring control design and effectiveness.
• Advise on and implement compliance requirements during Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures.
• Offer proactive advisory and assurance support to business units regarding SOX, Data Privacy, ESG, and Export Control.
• Establish monitoring mechanisms based on accountabilities and report findings to key stakeholders like IS GRC.
• Manage stakeholder relationships effectively, particularly with IS GRC and IS Compliance Operations Leads.
• Organize, staff, and develop the team, guiding direct and indirect reports in accordance with HR policies.
• Lead and supervise a multinational team of IS Compliance Assurance specialists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in IT, specifically in IS operations, risk, compliance, audit, governance, and stakeholder management.
• Deep understanding of Control Objectives for IS.
• Strong knowledge of standards and frameworks including COBIT, ISO, SOX, GDPR, and ESG.
• Experience implementing IAM, PAM, and SAP programs within SOX-regulated environments.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements from SOX/ICOFR and GDPR/IT Security during IAM/PAM/SAP rollouts.
• Solid experience conducting audits for financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to build credibility and maintain working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Skill in translating organizational goals into specific compliance requirements.
• Competence in tracking the evolving regulatory landscape.
• Knowledge to propose relevant IS responses to changing business risks.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proven track record of developing and submitting IT audit and compliance reports to governing bodies.
• Demonstrated ability to solve IS compliance issues using relevant knowledge and experience.
• Proven leadership capabilities in a global setting.
• Ability to set and manage priorities effectively.
• Skill in presenting ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
• Capacity to motivate teams in a collaborative environment.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree is preferred.
