ABB Power Grids seeks a Global Industrial Cybersecurity Manager in Baden, CH, to lead ICS governance, risk management, and program execution across global facilities.
The company is looking for a leader to execute and enhance its global Industrial Cybersecurity (ICS) Program across all manufacturing, assembly, and test sites. This position blends high-level governance and compliance oversight with hands-on program management, requiring deep expertise in ICS domains to protect critical industrial assets.
Responsibilities
- Create and update ICS policies, standards, and guidelines to align with international frameworks like IEC 62443 and NIST CSF, as well as regulations such as NIS2 and ISO standards.
- Manage ICS risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for critical industrial infrastructure.
- Direct daily operations of the ICS Program, including core control implementations and site-specific improvements.
- Work with cross-functional leaders to embed ICS requirements into operational workflows and technology roadmaps.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of ICS professionals.
- Act as the main escalation point for OT/ICS security incidents.
- Provide senior technical guidance on OT/ICS cybersecurity, including architecture hardening and security control implementation.
- Facilitate the integration of new cybersecurity tools and technologies into OT/ICS environments.
- Design and deliver advanced security awareness and training programs for OT/ICS stakeholders.
- Monitor OT threats, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to maintain a state-of-the-art defense posture.
- Represent the ICS Program in leadership forums to ensure cyber risk and resilience are integrated into business decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Technology, or a related field.
- 8–10+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, with a strong focus on industrial control systems (ICS), operational technology (OT), and critical infrastructure protection.
- Proven expertise in cybersecurity governance and risk management.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex, multi-stakeholder cybersecurity initiatives.
- Willingness to travel to various sites globally as needed.
Nice to have
- Advanced cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GICSP) or relevant risk management certifications (e.g., CGEIT, CRISC).
