Awin AG seeks a Senior Information Security Risk Manager to lead global risk management initiatives, embed risk ownership, and advise leadership on security posture in a hybrid role based in Switzerland.
The company is looking for a senior professional to take full ownership of its global information security risk management function. This role focuses on helping the business understand its risks, driving measurable improvements, and ensuring that risk considerations are integrated into strategic and operational decisions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct enterprise-wide risk identification and assessment for strategic projects, technology, and third-party relationships.
- Ensure risk remediation efforts reach completion by holding owners accountable and escalating stalled progress.
- Maintain the Information Security Risk Register to accurately reflect current risk exposure, progress, and outcomes.
- Define and embed the organization’s risk appetite, ensuring it informs both business and technology decisions.
- Establish and track KPIs to measure real improvements in the organization’s risk posture.
- Provide clear, actionable risk insights to senior management and the board.
- Own and continuously improve the global information security risk management framework, aligned to ISO 27001 and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and develop GRC team members, building capability in risk management and assurance.
- Lead horizon scanning across emerging threats, regulatory changes, and industry developments.
Requirements
- Proven track record of owning and delivering risk management initiatives end-to-end.
- Experience driving risk remediation across teams without direct authority.
- Strong experience presenting and defending risk positions to senior leadership and boards.
- Hands-on experience within an ISO 27001-certified ISMS environment.
- Strong knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 27001.
- Experience designing, implementing, or improving control frameworks.
- Experience with GRC platforms (e.g. Hyperproof).
- Very good English skills.
