Global Product Launch and Supply Chain Lead

Roche seeks a Global Product Launch and Supply Chain Lead in Rotkreuz to manage international commercialization and integration initiatives, balancing strategic direction with operational execution.

This position serves as a transformational project leader responsible for organization-wide integration initiatives and the international commercialization of new products. The role requires balancing 60% operational execution with 40% strategic direction to navigate complex cross-functional challenges effectively.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring global launch readiness and successfully scaling from pilot phases to full commercial operations.
• Coordinating project timelines, managing volume increases, and resolving immediate bottlenecks related to cold chain logistics or regulatory compliance.
• Executing multi-year planning strategies during the early stages of the product life cycle.
• Introducing new technologies and design methodologies to eliminate structural silos within the organization.
• Overseeing large-scale integration projects, including end-to-end supply chain workflows and divisional product launches.
• Influencing internal leadership and negotiating global design standards with external logistics service providers.
• Managing high-stakes conflicts between research and development speed, supply chain compliance, and financial cost objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
• At least eight years of leadership experience within the diagnostics, medical devices, or aerospace/capital equipment sectors.
• Proven track record of managing global launches for capital equipment and instruments in highly regulated environments.
• Deep understanding of the hardware product life cycle, including manufacturing scale-up and global trade compliance.
• Demonstrated capability in matrix leadership environments.

• MBA or advanced technical degree.
