Global Access Engagement and Reimbursement Leader - Roche Diagnostics

Roche seeks a Senior Global Access Engagement and Reimbursement Leader in Rotkreuz to drive diagnostics access strategies and collaborate with global functions.

This senior leadership role focuses on advancing diagnostics solutions within healthcare systems by expanding access, reimbursement, and funding opportunities. The position requires close collaboration with global teams in Medical, Commercial, Market Access, and Health System Policy to ensure effective strategy execution.

Responsibilities

• Analyze access coverage, reimbursement structures, payer policies, and competitive landscapes to uncover business opportunities.
• Provide expert insights to support the creation and implementation of global access strategies.
• Coach and guide regional and affiliate teams in executing global access initiatives.
• Develop frameworks that facilitate the transfer of global strategies and promote cross-organizational learning and collaboration.
• Assist regions and affiliates in implementing payer-focused access approaches and leading projects to improve local capabilities.
• Help build plans and networks aimed at creating sustainable healthcare systems.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in business economics, life sciences, public health, marketing, or a related field.
• At least five years of commercial or access experience in the diagnostic, pharmaceutical, or related industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of access landscapes and country archetypes in major healthcare systems, including the US, EU5, China, and Japan.
• Deep understanding of payer value drivers and trends in Access, Pricing, Reimbursement, and Policy.
• Established relationships with key access stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers in major healthcare systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a matrix environment and lead diverse teams.
• Fluency in English and at least one other relevant language.

Nice to have

• Additional education in market access.
• Experience in Strategy, Marketing, or Health Policy.
• Combined experience at both affiliate and global levels.
