Roche seeks a Global Strategic Pricing Leader for its Diagnostics Global Access & Policy team in Rotkreuz, CH. The role focuses on developing global pricing strategies, optimizing revenue, and ensuring sustainable access to diagnostics products.

The Global Strategic Pricing Leader will join the Diagnostics Global Access & Policy team to shape and implement global pricing strategies. This position is critical for developing guidance that optimizes revenue while ensuring sustainable access to Roche's products and solutions across global, regional, and local markets.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute global value-based pricing strategies for key pipeline and existing products, using analytics to evaluate elasticity, predict trends, and maintain profitability.
  • Collaborate with access and commercial teams to roll out pricing strategies, including innovative contracting solutions, to enhance market access and financial performance.
  • Manage pricing exceptions by providing clear guidance and supporting local affiliates in developing strategies to overcome access barriers.
  • Oversee price monitoring and generate insights using internal databases like DIAprice and sCORE, delivering actionable data to affiliates, regions, and IBTs.
  • Lead pricing committee meetings, issue price memos, and drive pricing governance, including maintaining pricing policies, controls, and KPIs such as floor prices.
  • Conduct primary and secondary research on payer, reimbursement, and pricing to inform global strategy and provide consolidated advice to product teams.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to advise IBTs and Product Managers on recommended price setting, ensuring compliance with governance processes.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of professional experience in pricing and reimbursement, preferably within diagnostics, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, health economics, life sciences, or public health.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen with deep knowledge of the global reimbursement landscape, competitive intelligence, and market segmentation.
  • Strategic and analytical skills, along with strong influencing, negotiation, and Agile leadership abilities to thrive in a global matrix organization.
  • Commitment to optimizing processes for quality and efficiency, and implementing pricing competence across the organization through training and support.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with affiliates and/or regions.
  • MBA or other graduate/higher-level degree.
