BridgeBio Pharma seeks a Senior Director for International Market Access Strategy based in Zug. This role leads pricing, reimbursement, and payer engagement across global markets to ensure timely patient access to transformative medicines.
Reporting to the VP of Market Access, International, this position sits at the heart of the company’s global commercial efforts. The incumbent shapes the value narrative and directs pricing and reimbursement strategies across diverse territories. By aligning regional teams and contributing to global decisions, the role ensures that the company’s mission to deliver transformative medicines reaches patients worldwide in a sustainable manner.
Responsibilities
- Act as the payer voice within cross-regional commercial teams to refine pricing and access approaches.
- Partner with HEOR, marketing, and clinical development leaders to align value and access optimization efforts.
- Manage early engagement with key health technology assessment bodies and payers, such as NICE UK and G-BA Germany, to guide evidence generation, value propositions, and dossier preparation.
- Collaborate with internal and external experts—including pricing specialists, health economists, patient advocates, and policymakers—to achieve pricing and reimbursement targets.
- Train and support local access teams on negotiation tactics, ensuring HTA and reimbursement submissions align with global and international strategies.
- Create and implement international market access strategies, including payer evidence generation, to support pricing and reimbursement goals.
- Establish and roll out international pricing strategies and contracting frameworks.
- Advise local teams on reimbursement dossier development, access pathways, and negotiation tactics.
Requirements
- Proven track record of leading HTA submissions and pricing negotiations across multiple international markets, preferably in rare diseases or orphan indications.
- Deep understanding of international healthcare systems, pricing structures, reimbursement frameworks, and regulatory landscapes.
- Experience in generating and applying data for HTA submissions and pricing negotiations, backed by a robust external network of agencies and stakeholders.
- Ability to present at senior levels and engage with global thought leaders.
- Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional, and multicultural teams, including external partners.
- Familiarity with product commercialization processes and a hands-on, solution-oriented approach to building scalable processes and documentation.
