Roche seeks a Manager to lead global supply chain process design and regulatory governance in Rotkreuz, CH, combining strategic architecture with compliance oversight.

The Global Supply Chain division acts as the strategic architect for end-to-end solutions, driving excellence across internal operations and external networks. This role merges process architecture, regulatory governance, and systems translation, requiring a matrix leader to serve as the chief architect of process integrity. The position operates globally with significant independent decision-making authority, split between leadership, project management, and individual contributions.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance operational efficiency, performance, and customer satisfaction by optimizing the design and execution of the end-to-end supply chain.
  • Develop L0, L1, and L2 future-state processes to establish global master standards and governance for enterprise-wide implementation.
  • Ensure strict compliance with global regulations, including ISO and CFR820 guidelines, to maintain international operational alignment.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Business Owners and technical teams to translate architectural process designs into functional Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Lead large-scale digital and architectural projects to challenge the status quo and foster entrepreneurial thinking.
  • Negotiate the balance between cost efficiency and technical innovation to resolve friction among Manufacturing, Commercial, and Quality functions.
  • Present strategic alignments, portfolio health metrics, and business cases to the DIA Supply Chain Leadership Team and external industry associations.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 8+ years of matrix leadership experience within a highly regulated environment (pharmaceutical, diagnostics, or healthcare).
  • Deep corporate familiarity across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Quality & Regulatory environments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing culturally diverse global teams and collaborating cross-functionally with internal stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree, Ph.D., or MBA in Life Science, Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related field.
