Senior Delivery Network Lead - External Manufacturing

Roche seeks a Senior Delivery Network Lead to direct global procurement strategies for external manufacturing, managing a large international team and ensuring supply continuity.

This senior leadership position sits within the Global Diagnostics Procurement team, a group of roughly 200 professionals dedicated to creating value through supplier partnerships. The role is responsible for defining and executing the end-to-end delivery strategy for commercial product manufacturing. Reporting to the Head of Delivery, the incumbent oversees a global team of more than ten direct reports, acting as the central procurement partner for the external manufacturing network.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main procurement business partner for the global external manufacturing network.
• Guide Delivery Managers and NPI Project Delivery Managers in converting high-level business strategies into specific procurement tasks.
• Ensure the uninterrupted supply of semi-finished and finished goods to manufacturing sites, supply chains, and new product development initiatives.
• Oversee all direct procurement activities managed by the Procurement Center of Excellence.
• Create a strong governance framework to facilitate efficient decision-making and act as the final escalation point for internal challenges.
• Provide line management, coaching, and performance oversight for a global team, including budget and succession planning.
• Foster a mindset of continuous improvement and raise the strategic profile of procurement within the network.

Requirements

• Master's degree, ideally in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or Life Sciences.
• At least 15 years of business experience within regulated industries.
• Minimum of 10 years of specialized procurement experience.
• Proven track record of leading global, cross-functional teams with over 10 direct reports.
• Business-level fluency in English.
• Willingness to travel globally up to 30% of the time.
