Interroll seeks a Group Lead Project Management MWD to lead and develop a team of project managers, oversee complex projects, and foster a global project management network. The role requires strong leadership, project management expertise, and fluency in English and German.

This role is responsible for leading and developing a group of project managers within Interroll, overseeing complex, high-impact projects, and establishing a global project management network to support the company’s strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of project managers, promoting a culture focused on performance, learning, and accountability
  • Own and deliver complex, high-impact, or critical projects and programs on time, within budget, and to quality standards
  • Coach and mentor project managers in leadership, stakeholder engagement, and delivery excellence
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve project management methodologies, tools, and governance frameworks
  • Maintain clear visibility on project status, risks, dependencies, and financials through structured reporting and KPIs
  • Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and escalations across projects and interfaces
  • Support budget planning, cost tracking, and resource allocation for projects and programs
  • Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and promoting best practices in project execution
  • Build and maintain a global project management network within Interroll

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent education
  • Minimum 8–10 years of project or program management experience in an industrial or technology-driven setting
  • Several years of leadership experience managing project managers or cross-functional teams
  • Proven success in delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects
  • Strong understanding of product development, engineering, and industrialization processes
  • Fluent in English; German language skills are required
  • Demonstrated leadership and people development abilities
  • Experience collaborating across cultures and teams
  • High level of accountability and ownership

Nice to have

  • Project management certification such as PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2, or SAFe
