Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend systems including networking, node software, client software, and supporting infrastructure.
• Design and implement proving workload orchestration across distributed prover machines.
• Contribute to protocol design through the full SDLC.
• Provide technical co-leadership through hands-on implementation.

Requirements

• Proven production experience in Rust with a strong command of async (Tokio).
• Experience with backend blockchain node/client software and supporting infrastructure.
• Experience with RPC protocols such as HTTP and WebSocket APIs.
• Familiarity with leading Web3 tooling in the EVM ecosystem.
• Demonstrated success launching projects from scratch (greenfield experience).
• Track record on high-performance teams with a strong execution culture.

Nice to have

• Experience with PostgreSQL and Rust ORMs (Diesel, SQLx, SeaORM).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with gRPC APIs.
• Experience with observability tools like OpenTelemetry and metrics aggregation.
• Experience with P2P networking (libp2p, DHTs).
• Knowledge of cryptographic fundamentals (ECDSA, BLS, hash functions).
• Experience with AWS or GCP.
