Head of Insurance Division – Member of the Executive Board

Wirz & Partners Management Consulting AG seeks a Head of Insurance Division to lead a team of around 100 employees in shaping insurance supervision in Switzerland. The role requires deep industry knowledge, regulatory expertise, and strong leadership skills, with a focus on risk management, strategy, and crisis response.

Responsibilities

• Oversee comprehensive, risk-based supervision of the insurance sector and drive its ongoing development
• Lead the implementation of strategic goals and define guiding principles for long-term direction
• Manage and develop a team of approximately 100 employees
• Engage in national and international collaborations, handle crisis situations, and lead change and innovation initiatives

Requirements

• A university degree in physics, mathematics, or business administration with a focus on insurance
• Several years of professional experience in the insurance industry
• Extensive understanding of regulatory standards, financial analysis, and risk assessment
• Proven leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities, along with a strong sense of integrity
• Fluent in German and English (C2 level), with French (B1) being an advantage
