Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. is seeking a Senior Group Employee Benefits Underwriter in Zürich to manage risk assessment, support sales, and serve as a technical contact for corporate clients in a hybrid role.

This position operates within an international team based in Zürich, Switzerland, where the group assists multinational organizations in identifying suitable financing solutions for their global employee benefit plans. The role functions as the main technical contact for corporate clients while contributing to the team's broader objectives.

Responsibilities

• Applying a structured methodology to evaluate risks for both new and existing accounts within your assigned portfolio.
• Partnering with sales professionals to secure new corporate clients.
• Collaborating with account managers and external partners to maintain and grow business relationships.
• Supporting the creation and upkeep of systems and procedures that aid the underwriting function.
• Monitoring and managing the performance of the existing business portfolio.

Requirements

• Hands-on background in pricing and underwriting Group Life and/or Medical Insurance products.
• At least six years of experience in Employee Benefits insurance or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking, resolving complex issues, and making sound decisions.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Capacity to rapidly grasp and apply new technical data concerning risk evaluation.
• Skill in interpreting client needs and converting them into actionable solutions.
