The company seeks a Head of Logistics for Central Eastern Europe to lead regional logistics transformation, optimize operations, and drive strategic value through digitalization and sustainability.

This position is responsible for steering the regional logistics organization toward becoming a key business enabler. The role focuses on transforming logistics into a strategic function that enhances competitiveness, improves customer experience, and delivers measurable business value across Central Eastern Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and carry out the logistics strategy for the Central Eastern Europe region.
  • Create, roll out, and refine the regional logistics operating model.
  • Oversee initiatives in transportation, warehousing, distribution, dispatching, and customer service.
  • Manage logistics costs with a disciplined approach.
  • Promote the use of digital logistics tools, advanced analytics, and automation.
  • Monitor and improve performance using key logistics KPIs.
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with logistics providers and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Ensure strong logistics governance and compliance with health, safety, regulatory, and sustainability standards.
  • Collaborate across functions including procurement, manufacturing, commercial, customer excellence, finance, and supply chain.
  • Build and develop high-performing logistics teams.
  • Cultivate a culture focused on operational excellence, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Support decarbonization efforts by implementing sustainable transport solutions and optimizing the network.

Requirements

  • University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in logistics or supply chain leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience leading regional, multi-site, or cross-country operations and driving business transformation.
  • Strong knowledge of transport networks, warehousing, distribution, dispatching, logistics performance management, and cost optimization.
  • Fluent English proficiency.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the region.

Nice to have

  • Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with digital logistics solutions, analytics, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in additional European languages.
