The company is looking for a strategic leader to define and manage its global solution portfolio, encompassing equipment, automation, and digital services. This position serves as the central link between Research & Development, Sales, and Project Execution, ensuring that products align with market demands while fostering profitable expansion. The incumbent will guide a high-performing team and act as the primary owner of the solution brand.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete product lifecycle and define the overarching strategy for the global solution portfolio, aligning with the five-year strategic cycle.
- Conduct market intelligence gathering to identify global trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies that present future business opportunities.
- Monitor the performance and competitiveness of the solution portfolio to ensure full-process solutions remain viable in bean-to-bar and grain-to-snack sectors.
- Develop business plans centered on market needs, including conceptual requests for new R&D initiatives and strategic partnerships.
- Establish and maintain a merger and acquisition (M&A) radar in collaboration with Group Business Development and adjacent units.
- Create compelling value propositions and storytelling materials to support global sales efforts across all communication channels.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-disciplinary team with international reporting lines, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Act as the brand ambassador for the solution portfolio, inspiring stakeholders with passion and dedication.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Process Technology, or Business Administration.
- Strong technical understanding in mechanical engineering, automation, or digital solutions, paired with business acumen in sales or marketing.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial investment goods sector.
- Solid grasp of business processes and strong project management capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-dimensional matrix organization with global stakeholders.
- Structured, analytical, and technically sound working methods, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, high integrity, resilience, and a willingness to go above and beyond.
- Fluency in both English and German, with strong networking skills and cultural adaptability.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and developing teams.
