Buhlergroup seeks a Product Manager in Uzwil to lead global grain handling product portfolios, including ship loading and conveyor systems, driving strategy and cross-functional collaboration.

This position is responsible for the end-to-end management of a worldwide product portfolio centered on grain handling equipment, specifically ship loading/unloading machinery and belt conveyor systems. The role requires an international perspective, working closely with diverse teams to enhance market standing and deliver value to customers globally.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the complete product lifecycle for global grain handling solutions, with a specific emphasis on ship loading/unloading equipment and belt conveyor systems.
  • Develop and implement product and portfolio strategies, including defining roadmaps, business cases, development priorities, and lifecycle management decisions.
  • Evaluate market trends, customer requirements, technological advancements, and competitor activities to create strong product requirements, value propositions, and positioning strategies.
  • Direct product development and go-to-market initiatives by coordinating with sales, marketing, R&D, service, and regional teams to ensure successful launches.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between global stakeholders, technical experts, and international offices, fostering collaboration, innovation, and portfolio expansion.

Requirements

  • A university degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, business administration, or a closely related field.
  • Several years of professional experience in product management or sales within an industrial B2B context.
  • Strong business acumen paired with a structured, self-motivated, and results-driven approach to work.
  • An international mindset with proven experience working in cross-functional and matrix organizations.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for approximately 20% to 30% of the time.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in both German and English.

Nice to have

  • Prior industry knowledge in grain handling, bulk material handling, or conveying systems.
