Head of Quality

Contrinex SA seeks a Senior Head of Quality to lead global QMS development, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee certification audits across international operations.

The company is looking for an experienced professional to direct quality management activities worldwide. This position involves steering the Quality Management System, ensuring adherence to international standards, and coordinating with global teams to maintain compliance and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ongoing enhancement and maintenance of the Group Quality Management System aligned with ISO 9001 standards.
• Ensure all quality documentation, including procedures and forms, meets ISO requirements and maintain a comprehensive documentation overview.
• Plan, execute, and follow up on internal audits within Switzerland, while establishing the annual audit schedule.
• Organize annual management reviews and track the implementation of improvement actions.
• Monitor adherence to procedures and address any identified deviations.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and various international certifications such as UL, DNV, CCC, and TÜV.
• Coordinate certification and marking audits, serving as the primary liaison with certification bodies.
• Track non-conformities and oversee corrective actions to resolution.
• Monitor global regulations affecting the electronics sector, including RoHS, REACH, WEEE, GDPR, and others.
• Evaluate the impact of regulatory changes on products and supply chains, defining necessary implementation steps.
• Manage Certificates of Compliance and ensure proper documentation.
• Coordinate certification, customer, and internal audits across Switzerland, the US, and Sri Lanka.
• Oversee the handling of customer and supplier complaints, including reviewing 8D reports and validating root cause analyses.
• Provide strategic guidance to the Quality team in Sri Lanka, ensuring alignment with headquarters standards.
• Support the resolution of major customer cases and escalations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering or Quality Management.
• Strong technical background in the electronics industry or a related field.
• Over ten years of experience in quality leadership roles.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing certification and regulatory audits.
• Comprehensive understanding of ISO 9001 and global regulatory frameworks.
