Quality Specialist

OTIS SA seeks a Lead Quality Specialist in Switzerland to manage the QMS, drive OPXL standards, and support field quality improvements through audits and training.

The company is looking for a Lead Quality Specialist to oversee the implementation and continuous enhancement of the Quality Management System at its Swiss operations. This position is central to ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and internal standards while fostering a culture of excellence and supporting the field organization in achieving high performance levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop, sustain, and enhance the Quality Management System to align with ISO 9001 and global corporate standards.
• Ensure the Swiss branch meets and maintains performance targets defined by OPXL frameworks.
• Assist the field teams in executing Product and Process Quality Improvement (PUI) initiatives.
• Boost customer satisfaction by establishing robust quality processes and leading continuous improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with other departments to handle customer complaints and manage survey processes effectively.
• Oversee action plans and maintain comprehensive documentation for the management system.
• Champion a mindset of continuous improvement consistent with OPXL principles.
• Utilize OPXL methodologies, including Market Feedback Analysis (MFA) and 5S practices.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on ISO regulations and OPXL requirements.
• Organize and take part in scheduled internal and external ISO audits.
• Report audit findings and performance metrics to the Executive Committee, recommending and executing corrective measures.
• Provide guidance to the Swiss organization regarding field quality PUI procedures.

Requirements

• Demonstrate strong autonomy while maintaining a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Adopt a customer-centric perspective with a proactive and supportive attitude toward business objectives.
• Possess fluent proficiency in both German and French to effectively train and communicate on quality and OPXL topics.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Italian or English is considered an advantage.
