Head of Site Logistics & Projects Visp

Arxada seeks a Head of Site Logistics & Projects in Visp, Switzerland, to lead logistics operations and SAP-enabled processes. The role requires expertise in supply chain, SAP logistics modules, and cross-functional collaboration in a manufacturing environment.

As Head of Site Logistics & Projects in Visp, this role combines logistics leadership with IT and systems expertise to manage site supply chain operations and drive digital process improvements. The position supports daily operational excellence and continuous improvement within Arxada’s manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and improve site logistics and supply chain operations to ensure reliable daily site performance.
• Manage key system interfaces, including SAP warehouse management, hand scanner tools, and warehouse automation systems.
• Act as the main contact between Arxada and external partners for SAP data exchange, ensuring data integrity and uninterrupted operations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through reconciliations, adjustments, and coordination of the annual stock count with Finance and auditors.
• Serve as the process owner for selected logistics and digital solutions across the NCE division, promoting standardization and improvement.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Site Operations, and IT teams to identify opportunities, support investments, and implement sustainable solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in site logistics and supply chain operations within manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Strong practical experience with SAP logistics modules such as MM and WM; additional modules like MRP, PP/DS, and IBP are beneficial.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to complex, customized SAP applications.
• Proven success in fast-paced, complex environments with cross-functional and cross-level collaboration.
• Capability to influence Supply Chain and Site leadership to secure necessary investments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and concisely.

Nice to have

• Experience with additional SAP modules including MM, MRP, PP/DS, WM, and IBP.
