Sunrise Communications AG seeks an Intern in Finance for a 6-12 month contract in Zürich. The position focuses on automating workflows, building data repositories, and supporting FP&A with Excel and AI tools.
This internship provides practical exposure to finance operations within a supportive team setting. The intern will engage in daily activities, collaborate with colleagues, and build professional competencies while contributing to process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Develop automated workflows to handle data transfers between systems and Excel reports, reducing manual effort.
- Build a centralized NFI data repository to support various planning scenarios, moving away from isolated Excel files.
- Utilize Microsoft Power Automate and AI solutions to streamline tasks and establish shared digital workspaces.
- Minimize manual business analysis work to allow more time for strategic analysis.
- Design a versatile data repository that accommodates multiple planning needs.
- Standardize processes by creating a collaborative workspace accessible to the entire team.
- Provide FP&A teams with access to data previously restricted to specialists.
- Generate automated workflows for updating closing reports using SAP and NFI data.
- Produce NFI reports and presentation materials for Month-End Closing, Budget reviews, and QBRs.
- Establish a shared AI-enabled workspace to facilitate easy access to information and answers.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in Data Science, handling large datasets, and structuring unfamiliar data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office applications.
- Fluent command of the English language.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in German.
- Eagerness to learn AI and business tools like SAP, SAP Business Warehouse, and Qlik Sense.
- Quick learning ability and high curiosity.
