Intern - Springboard Women Internship Program

McKinsey & Company offers a 10-12 week onsite internship in Geneva for women students, focusing on client problem-solving, leadership development, and professional growth within an inclusive environment.

This position is part of an exclusive internship program designed for undergraduate and postgraduate women, which is fully inclusive of transgender and nonbinary individuals. Interns join small teams of three to five consultants to tackle real client business problems over a period of approximately 10 to 12 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Collect and evaluate data to create, test, and refine hypotheses, then communicate actionable recommendations.
• Share findings with client leadership and assist in implementing solutions alongside client staff.
• Provide creative ideas and practical fixes while maintaining high ethical standards and integrity.

Requirements

• Current enrollment as an undergraduate student (from the third semester onward), master’s candidate, or PhD student.
• Demonstrated excellence in academic performance.
• Evidence of leadership capabilities gained through professional roles or extracurricular involvement.
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively within teams and interact with individuals at all organizational levels.
• Readiness to travel as needed.
• Fluency in English and German for Zurich roles, or fluency in French for the Geneva position.
