Internal Control Intern

Roger Dubuis seeks an Internal Control Intern for a 6-month onsite role in Meyrin, Geneva, supporting the Europe finance team with compliance, risk management, and process improvement.

This internship supports the growing compliance and internal control needs of the Europe Region finance team. The intern reports to the Senior Internal Control Specialist Europe and is based in Meyrin, Geneva. The position runs for six months, with start dates available between September and February.

Responsibilities

• Maintain risk and control matrices, conduct testing, and generate relevant reports.
• Audit system access permissions and segregation of duties, ensuring proper mitigations are applied.
• Organize and oversee annual inventory counts for warehouses and wholesaler stock.
• Assist management with special projects designed to enhance local and European internal control compliance.
• Create or update documentation for processes, procedures, and user guides.
• Drive digitalization and continuous improvement by building automation and reporting tools to boost efficiency.
• Manage the Europe Internal Control SharePoint to ensure clear and effective communication.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s program or recently graduated from a Business or Engineering school.
• Proficiency in data manipulation using Excel, Power Query, BI, and VBA.
• Solid understanding of how master data management impacts daily operational workflows.
