Regional Internal Control Manager Europe

Roger Dubuis seeks a Senior Regional Internal Control Manager for Europe to lead compliance initiatives, coordinate internal control systems, and ensure adherence to Group guidelines across European markets.

This position serves as the primary Internal Control System (ICS) leader for the regional managing company and acts as the central coordinator for all internal control activities within European markets. The role is critical in supporting the growing compliance demands aligned with Group guidelines, managing the control environment for Richemont Europe, and overseeing local ICS and business development projects.

Responsibilities

  • Update risk matrices, conduct testing procedures, and submit reports to the Group.
  • Evaluate system access rights and segregation of duties, implementing necessary mitigations.
  • Serve as the main liaison for external auditors.
  • Organize and oversee bi-annual inventory stock counts.
  • Assist management with ad-hoc projects aimed at strengthening compliance frameworks.
  • Create or guide the documentation of processes, procedures, and user manuals.
  • Manage the European Finance Intranet and other digital platforms to ensure clear communication.
  • Lead and facilitate the regional RFBO Subject Matter Expert (SME) community.
  • Drive the harmonization of processes across the European region.
  • Plan and execute regional process audits.
  • Promote the exchange of internal control best practices throughout Europe.
  • Schedule and conduct internal control reviews in various markets to verify compliance.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Finance or a related discipline.
  • Prior work experience with a Big 4 accounting firm.
  • Proficiency in SAP.
  • Fluency in both English and French.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Celonis.
  • Understanding of retail and wholesale business operations.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks in European countries.
  • Proactive awareness of the luxury sector and evolving retail trends.
  • Previous experience in audit roles.
